We do appreciate you being here but the advise your giving is not accurate. You cant get herpes by what your advising with sharing all those things in healthy adults and even at that its needs to be massaged into a mucus area at a time when there is an obvious open lip sore. Those most at risk from sharing things are young babies whose immune systems are not yet strong and whose skin is not yet formed.
Also stomatitis refers to any mouth ulcer and most often is the Rabies virus and Rabies is not herpes but a virus caused by animal bites.

Its this type of advise that causes anxiety to increase in those who are already at their wits end.

Something to think about:  Period of communicability of herpes simplex infections.

Secretion of virus in the saliva may occur for up to 7 weeks after recovery from stomatitis.

What is stomatitis?:
Stomatitis is inflammation of the mouth and lips.[1] It refers to any inflammatory process affecting the mucous membranes of the mouth and lips, with or without oral ulceration.[2]

In its widest meaning, stomatitis can have a multitude of different causes and appearances. Common causes include infections, nutritional deficiencies, allergic reactions, radiotherapy, and many others.

One example of stomatitis:
A mouth ulcer (also termed an oral ulcer, or a mucosal ulcer) is an ulcer that occurs on the mucous membrane of the oral cavity.[1] Mouth ulcers are very common, occurring in association with many diseases and by many different mechanisms, but usually there is no serious underlying cause.

You would need a weakend immune system or be a small child to get it in most of the ways you describe. Most healthly adults won't contract hsv this way.

You can get herpes from ANY contact. Sharing drinks foods, utensils, water bottles ,sippy cups, an innocent kiss from a family member...
If your immune system is weakened for any reason you can pass it on or conract the herpes virus much easier.

You can get hsv from kissing and oral sex. The time you are most at risk is if there is an active hsv lesion. Hsv does shed the virus at certain times  so you can get hsv when no symptoms are present but your odds are much smaller.
