Online meds. that helps for less breakouts?

Hi I have a question, some of the online sites for meds. for herpes says that there r meds. that can lessen the numbers of outbreaks or get rid of herpes, I was wondering if anyone tried these meds. and do they work, because most of theses drugs cost lots of money. Thanx for any feedback.

I know of someone who was on Valtrex 500 one pill per day and never had an outbreak for years. Couldn't afford them myself so didn't go for it.

Of course they were prescribed to him by a doctor. I would consult a doctor first to make sure that would work for you.

OK I know Valtrex is a prescribed med. that is supposed to work, but there r some online meds. where they say u can go without an outbreak for years. For example oxygen therapies, antagomir, dynaiclear, hyperisince, lectroject iontophiresis, l-lysine supplement, and olive leaf extract, viralprin, immune glory, valacyclovir, and famiciclovir. Anyone ever tried any of these online meds., I dont think they r prescribed.

all the others you mention are just ways to give your money to strangers and I don't recommend any of them.  plenty of posts here about why lysine isn't effective too.

The best cure for an outbreak is to try and not get upset, stay calm. Your nerves trigger outbreaks. When you start to feel an outbreak comming go {tingle and itching} as soon as you can and apply some toothpaste on it. Colgate, close up, any that is real minty works wonders. It also helps  with the itch. Should be gone within the hour. i sometimes forget that it 's ever tried to come up. If you've gotten to it and your a little late still apply, also you can try calamine lotion, but that will only help with the itch and help dry it up.
