Oral Herpes to girlfriend, spreadable to other areas?
Im very worried right now, I think I may have given my girlfriend herpes. I was aware that I get cold sores from time to time and was always very careful around previous girlfriends whenever I had an outbreak. To my knowledge I have never spread herpes to anyone before.
My current girlfriend has noticed a tingling sensation in her chin
) for about a week and was worried that maybe I passed it on to her. We had been making out, but I had no developing sores at the time. I had an outbreak about 2 days later. This only concerned us more. What are the odds I gave her this? Her doctor said she may have a "mild case" How can one have a mild case of herpes? Isn't a viral infection a viral infection and it'll just spread and does what it does in the body? It's been over 3 weeks now and she hasn't had an outbreak, just that funny sensation in her face
on her without an outbreak is there a good chance I could give her genital herpes? Can you really pass it on through the saliva? Should I just go on living
life without kissing or performing oral sex ever again? Also, if she does start to get cold sores, if she doesn't have an outbreak, can she give me genital herpes? I myself have gotten cold sores even since I was a young child, I am 22 now.
I'm feeling really bad right now about the whole thing. I can't believe I could have spread it to her.
