for 10 mins on another male, should I have seen symptoms of oral herpes already? How long does it take before symptoms start to occur after exposure? 4 days ago I noticed the swelling
Because I've never experienced any symptoms in the past and all of a sudden after this encounter I've started to develop symptoms of both herpes and hiv. Today I went to be tested for HIV, I got a 20 min rapid test that came back negative which I was relieved to hear. But after thinking what I first had was genital herpes I've just been constantly doing research on this issue. I was fine until the beginning of this week when I noticed my lymph nodes swelling which got me back to worrying so much. I do have a question though if you could please explain to me about hsv2 oral?
1. Low risk of transmission of genital herpes to mouth from oral sex?
I'm sorry to be so paranoid, but I do appreciate your responses. As I stated before I plan on being tested after three months until then I will constantly be cautious when I notice certain things going on.
you were seen and they didn't feel that your genital symptoms were herpes ( the 2nd practitioner ). your description of your symptoms doesn't sound like herpes either.
you are incredibly unlikely to contract hiv from oral sex.
I think you misunderstood my question now that I reread the previous post I can see why it was confusing. Sorry. I was referring to Herpes type 2 in the mouth area. If a person were to be infected with genital herpes and I performed oral on that person, how likely would the transmission be from his genitals to my mouth?
