Orofacial HSV1 and spine

Can Orofacial HSV1 cause some spinal sensations (sciatica)? I read that oral herpes resides on the nerves in the face, but I have been having some weird sensations on my lower back down to my left leg and was wondering if its related to a recent outbreak of cold sores.

btw, this is the first outbreak I can recall although I understand we contract some form of HSV1 early on. I am 40 and have had Bells Palsy 10 years ago. I am just worried about neurological health.

sciata would be far too low on the spine to be related to hsv1 orally. You need to follow up on this with your provider for further evaluation.
