Outbreak won't go away

22 days ago I woke up with an outbreak. I went  to the doctors to get checked out, and he took a look and  prescribed me Acyclovir. I have been  taking acyclovir for the past 20 days and my outbreak is still there no of the  lesions have popped  and gone away. I have been bringing a ton of water and not eating  processed food. Shouldn't it have cleared up by now?  This is my initial outbreak  and like I said before it has been three weeks since the start of the outbreak now. Any advice would be  appreciated. My std  blood panel all came back negative.  I just want my junk to look normal again.

They are not hard, the doctor prescribed me some topical ointment so I'm going to give that a try and see what happens.

HPV are topical skin warts that are hard and should not be irritating the skin.

Went to the doctors today and he seems to think it might be HPV.

Hi what your describing and the way they are reacting to the antivirals would pretty much rule out that this is a herpes. Very often a skin irritation in the genital area can become cronic and need some special care to control them.
