PLEASE HELP... Herpes Testing

I last had unprotected sex with someone about 9 weeks ago. A one time deal.  I got really worried about it and went in for a full std checkup.  For the first time in my life I had a Herpes test, had to ask for it.  Everything but the Herpes test was neg. At the 6 week post contact the lgG was pos. for HSV 1 and Neg for HSV 2.  At the same time the lgM test was 1.11'sh or close to that.. the doctor didn't act concerned about at all... He said you are "neg" for HSV 2. but to be sure we will retest in 3 weeks... so I did.  Now at the 9 week mark I repeat both test and again it is neg for HSV 2 and pos for HSV1.  At 9 weeks Lgm test was 1.09 going down.Equivocal ?  He basically said just let me know if you have any "flare ups"...  the Doctor was very causal about it and only did the second set of test for "peace of mind"...
I have not seen any blisters on my genitals at all.  I did have some lower back pain and low abdominal pain but I don't know if that is in regards to stress or HSV.  I had what may be called an oral "flare up" ?? I don't know.  I had a spot on the tip of my tounge that sort of looks like some HSV pictures I have seen on the web.  I have never had a cold sore that I remember. After extensive reading I reading I now realize I most likely have had the HSV1 a couple years..I remember the primary outbreak but didn't know it was oral herpes at the time. Mouth blisters, etc..  Can't sleep with worry.  I am wondering if this is HSV2 that is not showing up on the lgG test because its only been about 9 weeks.?..or could the lgM be elevated from a past HSV1 infection?  How conclusive are the test at 6 and 9 weeks?

The test will pick up about 70% of HSV 2 at 6 weeks, we don't have statistics for 9 weeks, but I suspect it is higher.  Most people who test positive for HSV 2 will do so by 4 months.

The IgM test is worthless - I can't tell you how many false positives I've seen in people who post on boards - that is, they test positive by IgM and never become positive by IgG.  It is so terribly unfortunate that 1) labs offer it and 2) that providers order it.  I strongly suspect that yours, also, is a false positive and the chances are that you will not become positive.  The reason I think that is because you had a single exposure, statistically not high risk, and also because you are negative now, 9 weeks out.  That's a good sign.
