PLEASE READ & HELP REALLY SCARED:(

A couple of weeks ago I messed around with a guy who I've known for a little while. We just made out and then he fingered my butt. The thing is though that afterwards I noticed that he had a red looking scab in his public hair area that made me think right away it was a genital herpes sore. He didn't have any bumps of sores or scabs on his penis that I noticed but I think he had herpes. So I confronted him about it and he said he doesn't have herpes but I don't believe him because what else could it be? It's not normal to have a big red scab down there is it? And after this incident I've had a really bad itching and burning sensation in my anus. It burns and itches really bad and it's lasted for almost 2 weeks and I'm really scared that he infected me with anal herpes because he touched himself and jerked himself off before he fingered me so if had heroes he could've infected my anus when he was fingering me right? Please help And give me some answers because I'm really worried and scared that I'm infected and this burning and pain don't go away I'm really scared:( please help.

Yes our worrying for nothing as there is no risk fingering your butt.

I went to the doctor today and was diagnosed with having an anal fissure. And I was prescribed some ointment and a suppository. The doctor said he didn't see any sores or lesions just a small cut. But my question is I've read online that heroes can cause anal fissures and that worries me. Am I worrying for nothing? Is there absolutely no risk for me getting herpes?

Herpes only exists in the region of infection. Hence only the genital area would be infected and capable of infecting you in the situation described.

Hence the fingering is of no risk of herpes transmission to you.

As for the scab, the most common place for a herpes scab is on the penis and is usually a patch not exceeding say half an inch, usually smaller. This scab does not seem to be on the penis.
