Thanks for being so clear about all of this I really appreciate it. Do you have any idea what else could cause the tingling?
With tingling a sore would come but as i said, the area is not correct for contracting herpes as was covered. So if you think the head tingling is from a recent herpes infection, its not.
Thanks for all the info, I do have hair so hopefully that helped. Hypothetically let's say it is herpes; since there is tingling is a lesion bound to appear or can i have tingling with no lesion(s)?
Yes thats correct. If your pubic mount area made contact with hers there would be a risk but if you dont shave, the hair would act as a barrier to some extent. Fairly low risk contracting herpes using a condom. If you have a long term partner, test for herpes and syphilis for their protection.
Thanks Life360. So just to clarify you are saying since I was protected, the penis tip was covered. Since the tip was covered it is not at risk. However the areas of my genitals that were not covered by the condom would then be at risk. The tingling is in the tip so it should not be herpes, due to the fact it was covered? Sorry I just wanna understand as much as I can. Is it possible for herpes to make contact/transfer via unprotected skin and then migrate?
Hi, since your penis was covered the tingling on your penis head would not be herpes related to the affair. Tingling is called Prodrome symptoms and the term is most often used for those who already have herpes. If no genital skin contact was made you would not be at any risk for any std.
