just keep following up on this post - that's fine.
adhesions are different. At this point it sounds like things are just swollen and irritated in general. as I said, she shouldn't be trying to separate the skin - it's just irritating it more.
dermoplast spray ( the blue can, not the red can for the genital area ) is also helpful. it's a topical anesthetic you can use for pain relief too.
Thank you Grace !!
I had posted an earlier question 'herpes and labial adhesion', but realizing I may be incorrect at this point - as I am still in the process of finding out what this may be medically called, this partial closing of her vagina - I thought perhaps leaving it at 'lesion' might be better, as it's alot easier to find info. online for lesion than adhesion.
I just got off the phone with our doctor and she has an appointment tomorrow afternoon.
Then I should know EXACTLY what this is. ( and I will forward this info. to here ).
I thank you so very much for your insight, we most definately have been using epsom salts - great relief !
And to ease the pain with her urinating, I've made an epsom salt/water solution in a water bottle so she can shake it up then pour it on to herself into the toilet as she's urinating - wonderful relief too !!!
( I'm using some of the tricks I used with childbirth soreness )
It's probably not possible, but if there's a way, I would like to pull my previous question below this one.
Though on a long shot, perhaps someone may be more familiar with my first question using adhesion rather than lesion ????
Thank you so very much again, I will let you know what we find tomorrow.
:-)
she shouldn't be picking and prodding down there. At this point I recommend she try something as simple as soaking in the bathtub with epsom salts thrown in once or twice a day. Let the ob completely heal. Then she should return to her provider for a thorough work up including testing for bacterial and yeast infections vaginally. She very well could have more than 1 thing going on genitally but at this point she should just let things be down yonder and let the herpes heal.
