I will start off by saying that I have been diagnosed with prostatitis. I have the typical symptoms of burning when urinating, lower back pain, pain between scrotum and anus etc..
About 3 weeks ago I noticed a pink rash that has tiny pimple looking marks on my glans (glands)penis
. It is shiny and seems to be somewhat scaly with breaks in the skin. These dont hurt and they are very small. The bumps are somewhat scattered all around the front of the glans (glands)penis
. For about 5 months now I have had terrible leg pain and muscle pain that has not gone away. Really the only way to truly see these pimple looking marks is to look at it with a microscope. I think I might just be over analyzing my penis
. I have a hunch it could be psoriasis or something of that nature. On another note I have had itchy eyes for a while especially after I smoke as well as itching in my anal area
A few questions...
Could the leg pain last for 5 months if indeed it would be herpes?
Does this sounds like herpes?
If I do have athletes foot can it be spread to the anus and penis?
I would guess that it's all related to the Prostatitis and will get better as your condition improves,it doesn't sound like Herpes to me at all .....
I haven't ever heard of athletes foot transfering to the genitals or anywhere else for that matter.
When you next see your Urologist have a chat with him about your concerns and show him also,he will put your mind at ease about it all.
Why are you concerned about Herpes rather than the Prostatitis you have been diagnosed with ?
Chronic leg and arm pain is not commonplace with Herpes although some people experience some Herpetic nerve pain which can radiate inand around the infected area however I don't think that is the case with you,you need to discuss this pain with your Doctor, the rash I think could be related to the Prostatitis but you would really need to show this to your Urologist to be certain.
If you have real concerns about Herpes it would be a good idea to be tested rather than try to self diagnose .....
Have you had a blood test for herpes? Because I was diagnosed with prostatitis because I did not wait till the 3 month period for the antibodies that the body creates in order for the HSV virus to be detected in the blood.
Yes, HSV can cause leg pain and it can spread to legs and arms.
Start using some over the counter cream on it like cortizone that helps dry skin. If it starts going away probably chaving or drying skin, gets worse its probably herpes because herpes like moist areas not dry.
Also check out this virus out called molluscum resembles acne which you say it kinda of looks like on your penis.
