Hi, I'm Joshua. I don't no exactly, what is it that's why I am here.

I have meet with my boyfriend about two month ago. I have spend a whole night with him and sex with him. Most of the part of the sex was oral. But finally he made all. About two weeks ago some symptoms was examined in his body. Finally, yesterday he informed me that Herpes has been detected in his body. Doctor said, most probably it is HSV-1.
I have noticed sores in my thighs, its not painful still . But I am very confused now. Please suggest me, what should I do know.

Most likely his HSV1 infection is oral.

More than 1/2 the adult population has oral herpes, and you could in fact have it yourself. Most folks who have it never have obvious symptoms to know.

Was your sex protected?

If you are concerned, you can see your doctor for a swab/culture of the sores. But yes, herpes sores are typically painful.

My partner has done Herpes viral culture test. I have not done any test yet. What type of test, would you like to suggest me?

so your partner was diagnosed as having hsv1 genitally from a lesion culture.  

you can seek out a type specific herpes igg blood test to see what your status is unless you can recall ever having had a cold sore.

Please help me out from this pain. I am sucked.
I have meet with the medical professional as you have suggested me. I have done Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test and a Antibody tests and get positive. What should I do now?

You need to find out exactly what testing you had done.

The valid test for herpes is an IgG type specific blood test. A PCR is a waste of time as herpes is not a blood born disease.

My outbreaks is still continuous. So you are suggesting me to take the lgG type specific blood test instead of carrying my outbreaks? Such painful outbreaks  is not any proof of HSV-1? Please let me know your suggestion over my present condition.

are you being seen for your symptoms when you have them? what do they think they are?

did you have a pcr swab of active lesions that came back as + for herpes?
