Hello, about 5 days ago i masturbated with another individual and we interchanged masturbating each other, same hand and eithers genitals. my penis has been irritated, i had a headache for the past 3 days and a runny nose(cold symptoms). I still feel uneasy about this because i remember he had somekind of growth on the part where the head of his penis meets the shaft.. it didnt look like a lesion just deformity type of deal. What are the chances of contracting that way? If he masturbated himself then masturbated me?

The only reason i question it is because they always tell you to never share towels and such with infected people. So what makes masturbation any different if your hand can act as the method of transport?

transmission of herpes by towels is theoretical only. there are no documented cases of it happening.  

odds are what you noticed was normal but if you are concerned, discuss it with the partner in question.
