Please help me

i m 25 male..Few days back i had sex with a girl unprotected without condom...aftr sm days i saw so many rashes on her body continuosly fr days nd we continued to have sex fr days nd kisses also..Aftr almost two weeks while she still had red bumps on skin, one morning she woke up with swollen upper lip...we consulted doc nd he told her that she z suffering from herpis lebalis.....Now about me m not sure whether m infected or not.i hv no symptoms as of now.....I hugged her all the time while she had red bumps on body ..but no open sores on body or vagina, till now she never had open sores...so i wana know for me what are the chances of being infected...plz help nd suggest...i never know about herpes untill doc told her...

oral herpes is very common. did either of you seek out type specific herpes igg blood testing to see what your hsv1 status was?

rashes all over her body would not be herpes related.

since you had unprotected sex, you really should be following up with full std testing at the proper times. you can seek out testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea, ngu and trich after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.

It is my understanding that if she had herpes and you had unprotected sex even when she wasnt having an outbreak it is still possible to transmit (although the possibility is greater from man to woman than from woman to man).  If I were you I would get myself tested just to be sure.  I hope that you are all in the clear.  Sorry to hear that your girlfriend is having this issue.

i wana add more that ..she never had any genital sores or inflammation till now ...all she has is rashes nd red bumps on body and swollen lips..i never kissed her while swollen lip
