mask piece. It was probably 2 minutes or so after they had used it. The girl didn't have any visible sores. What are the chances of me contracting herpes, given that she did have herpes? Please do respond, it'll be greatly appreciated!
No, Ive never had any sores/outbreaks so never thought I really needed to. I asked my doctor once, and she said it would be best to test for it when you have a visible sore present. She told me I really didnt need to test.
So, as far as this incident goes, you don't believe I have anything to worry about? The mask that I am talking about has a mouthpiece where you put your mouth over and blow into. This doesn't pose much of a risk?
Apprently you think we want to give out incorrect information. First of all the this is a no risk. Saliva isn't going to work its way past your skin to reach the nerves
. The majority of people who have hsv1 orally, don't get obvious cold sores to know it which is why periodic herpes igg blood testing is important in general.
