Possibility of Transmission?

I am HSV 1 positive (orally).  I recently gave my boyfriend oral sex, and the next day I developed a cold sore.  I am wondering if anyone knows the rate/possibility (stats would be great) that he will contract genital HSV 1 from this act.  He does not have any prior HSV infections that we know about.

At this point just wait and see if and if develops any obvious signs within the next 2-3 weeks he should see his doctor immediately for proper diagnosis and treatment. Odds are that he didn't contract it but no quick way to tell.

Also if he's never been tested for herpes before, he can get a herpes igg blood test to see what his status is. Even though he can't recall ever having a cold sore, doesn't mean that he isn't hsv1+ himself.
