Possible HSV1 autoinoculation

I believe I have genital HSV1, I went to a nurse practitioner, my doc was on vaction and she was all i could see, but she said I have herpes, so I went about got tested

Ok first off I have cold sore virus so I know I should test positive for HSV1 regardless.
My girlfriend is the only person I've had sexual contact with in 2 and 1/2 years.
My girlfriend has not have sex with anyone else in over 6 months, i beleive this
My girlfirend has never had a cold sore

We were both tested , specific igg antibody test, she came back negative for HSV1 and HSV2, I came neg for HSV2 but of course positive for HSV1

I had an outbreak last week, I also believe I may have had an outbreak sometime about 1 and 1/2 years ago but am not sure could have been a pimple or razor burn

Knowing all this information, I believe I gave myself herpes but using my salvia for masterbation lube, I have done this for over 10 years and almost everyday or at least 4-5 days a week on average

Is it possible that I gave myself herpes, if so then am I no more different than I was before, was I just a stupid misinformed fool, is it possilbe to go 1 year 1/2 without an outbreak, is there really a difference between gential and oral HSV1 other than public opinon, is it merely a cold sore on the penis, why do i feel so much more shame and that no one will ever love me



So if this information is correct then my girlfriend could not have given me HSV

not likely this was hsv1 genitally at all. more likely it was something else. visual diagnosis is wrong many times which is why proper testing and follow up are recommended.

I should have probably said I did have blisters and they were very similar to what symptoms for herpes is, I didn't know I could get swabbed, I feel a little annoyed the nurse prac didn't bring it up and they are healed now, so I have to wait again to see if I outbreak but being hsv1 that could be years

the only bright spot is my girl friend didn't dump me and she told me two days ago she will continue to see me, so I feel very much loved by her now

whatever is going on, odds are it isn't genital herpes. You having hsv1 orally gives you significant protection from transmitting it to your genital area while using lube for masturbation.

if this rash is healed, nothing else you can do at this point. should it reoccur, be seen and get it looked at.
