encounter. I've had no symptoms of herpes other than a left leg pain throughout the whole leg, although I've had no pain in the butt or lower back. The pain has lasted roughly 6 or 7 days. I've done a fair
with herpes? Should I be worried about the pain being associated with herpes despite not having any outbreak? It seems if someone is having such a pronounced symptom such as the leg pain there would be an outbreak. Needless to say, I'm freaking out about it.
Is this a regular partner? If so, you both should be tested - just so you have a baseline status. But if not, yes it makes sense to know your own herpes status. Then going forward you'll know. And should you develop genital symptoms such as blisters, be seen for a swab/culture. Remember that a one-time encounter is very low (assuming your partner even had herpes).
Went to the doctor today, he said that if the leg pain was from herpes, there wouldve been an outbreak within 2 to 3 days of the pain. I took an xray of my back and he said my xray showed muscle damage around the spine due to lifting a lot of weight( while working out) and running a lot. He said not to worry about herpes, that this case didn't seem to be like that. Should I continue to worry or leave it at that?
haha. Thanks for the help petal and grace. I still have some anxiety about all of it, so I'll probably get tested in a few months. Despite that, the muscle relaxers the doctor gave me are helping a lot. With everyone I've heard that has leg pain from herpes, medicine doesn't seem to help.
Im having leg pain, not a pain as such more of a shooting sensation, did you recieve unprotected oral sex at all? Mine was my first ever sexual encounter with a girl...
