Possible herpes case? Please help

*First time I posted this, I posted it in the wrong place... Sorry, I'm new! Lol :p*

So, roughly back in september of 2008, I had a sexual experience with an older gentlemen (girlfriend and I were separated, and I was kinda confused, so I figured I'd try it). All that happened was he gave me oral. Well, everything was fine until a few months later. I started having bleeding from my rectum, then a few weeks later I got the signs of getting Hemroids. Well, I didn't do anything about them til now (I've had them for at least 5 + months) because I don't have any health insurance because I lost my job. I just started using Preparation H today, but if it doesn't get at least mildly better in about a week, I'm going to the doctor.

I read how hemroids can often be misdiagnosed, and it can actually be a sign of herpes. I think I have something (mostly herpes from what I read) because I seem to be showing a lot of signs, however I'm also torn because a lot of these signs have been happening for most of my life. For instance, my skin is itchy all over (mostly my chest/arms), but it's winter time so of course my skin is going to be really dry. And I'm also getting like these really small, red bump looking things on various places of my body. Like my hands, arms, ectera. Usually it's only one that comes, then it goes away in a few days, then I find another one. They don't hurt, itch, or puss or anything like that, they're just kinda there.

Also, about a day ago, I noticed this little red (cold sore?) bump looking thing above my lip. Again though, no pain, no puss, nothing like that at all. Again, it's just kind of there. I put carmax on it to see if it'd heal it, or help it go away. I have not found any bumps or sores or anything of that nature around my genital area, however there's some slight pain in the area where my pubes grow, no bumps or anything, just some slight pain when I poke it hard. I suppose I should add that I am under a great deal of stress. Constantly getting complained to about getting a job, worrying about having a STD, very mad at myself for not being able to find one, ectera.

Other than that I'm fine. I just really would like some help because my current girlfriend and I started having sex a few months ago (about 2 or 3 I want to say), but she isn't showing symptoms of any kind. We always use a condom (except for one or two times). I just want to make sure she's in no danger, and I'm fine, and considering I can't really afford to go the doctor yet, I'm reaching out to you wonderful people. Help me please.

P.S. Sorry it's so long.

Your anxiety about std's is far more of an issue than anything else that is going on.

Yes canker sores can appear inside the lip.  No reason to suspect anything else is going on.

I'm also kind of freaking out because I found this small red looking thing on the inside of my mouth, on my lip. I've gotten canker sores all my life, but apparently canker sores can't appear on your lips even if it's inside? I'm not sure. But when I get canker sores, they don't hurt, and you can't tell what it is until a day or two later (I guess when it's in stage 2 from what I've read), so I guess I'll wait and see what it turns into...?

Any insight would be very much appreciated. I have yet to find a job so I can't go get tested yet!

Thanks and I hope to hear from you very soon.

I thank you for your help thus far, and since I posted my skin has, for the most part, stopped itching (it's starting to get a bit warmer around where I live). However, may I ask why you think I'm being overly paranoid? Like it is because there's nothing around/on my genital area, and there's no puss, ectera?

I only ask because at the moment, I'm training to be a MMA fighter. When I get a job, I'm of course going to a doctor to get blood work done to make sure there's no diseases/sicknesses/ectera I would/could possibly pass through blood contact.

As for my hemroids, they're mostly gone. I'll probably buy one more tube of preparation h to see if it gets rid of the rest of it (it'd probably help if I didn't go back to siting on my bum for hours on end after putting the medicine on).

Well thanks for your help and I look forward to hearing from you.

Am I still being overly paranoid do you think?

Opps should also mention that there isn't any pain anymore when I use the bathroom. The bleeding stopped a few week ago, but now when it does bleed it's only a small amount.

Thanks for your help. Lol I'm actually quite convinced it's hemroids... Especially after only one day of using preparation h (put it on 3 times) I can already tell a HUGE difference. It seems the area isn't anywhere near as "swollen" as it was. I was mostly worried because I forgot to mention I did have a swollen lymph node on my neck. When I went to the doctor, he just said it was caused by some sort of infection. And about three days after it went away (he gave me some anti-biotic) I ended up getting a cold, lol. It's gone now though.

Also, that thing above my lip, turned out just to be some sort of pimple I think. I was playing around with it and I kinda just like... scraped it off. No blood, puss, or anything of the sort.

Thank you again, you've been a huge help.

So, am I just being too overly paranoid then do you think?

Nothing you mentioned is reason to suspect that these aren't hemorrhoids. Since you are having bleeding with them, follow up on them with a gastroenterologist.

Opps, I should add that I do spend a LOT of time sitting on my butt, in a hard wood chair, lol. Searching for jobs + playing an online computer game.
