Possible herpes?

According to a blood test I have HSV-1. I have gotten some bumps on the shaft of my penis which a doctor told me it didn't look like herpes. I have no discharge, no pain or itching, and no fluid from the bumps. Is it possible this could be herpes? Could HSV-1 cause these bumps?

I'm afraid there are numerous skin conditions that will do this; many are naturally occurring. See your doctor if you have concerns to seek an appropriate diagnosis.

Other than STDs, what could cause red bumps on the penis?

Also, these bumps mainly occur after masturbation, if that means anything.

Your HSV1 is most probably from an infection orally in your youth.

Your bumps do not sound like herpes lesions.

Also, I was tested for all STDs and all came back negative except for the HSV-1
