Possible infection?

So i had sex last thursday.
Part of it was unprotected grinding. So there was skin to skin contact. The rest of it was protected.

Starting on sunday i had some stinging on the left side of my vaginal lips. I looked around but no sores were present.

The stinging continued and today i have a low grade fever of a 99.1.

Would it all be related?

My partner swears he is negative and he swears he got tested for it.
We both have an established hsv-1 infection.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

You have posted several times regarding very low risk exposures with people you do not even know have HSV2.

There is no need to have such anxieties regarding sexual contact, especially protected contact or even unprotected contact with a partner if you have mutually tested.

From what I have heard an initial herpes infection starts out with sores and not feelings. Recurrent outbreaks may begin that way but not the initial.

A low grade fever does not necessarily mean an infection either and I don't think the two are related.

If you want you can test in 12 weeks for peace of mind but I think it would be negative.
