Post-Herpetic Neuralgia from Genital Herpes

Two months ago I have an encounter with a prostitute in Thailand. I was protected for part of it unprotected for another part. She rubbed her vagina my penis vigorously but I did not have a condom on at that point. She also gave me some oral sex without a condom also. About 5 or 6 days later I developed very itchy penis nearby head. Then it morphed into some pain aching sensation and aching sensation in my urethra. It went away about 2 weeks later. I never developed any blisters. It's been 2 months now and I have that aching pain in the end of my penis again on the sides where it was super itchy. Could I be having Post-Herpetic Neuralgia pain?  At this point I had convinced myself that I have herpes I have not been tested except for an igg and img 5 days after I was exposed. So they would not be conclusive they were all negative. My question is can I have contracted herpes without developing any stores have this type of pain? Also what else could cause the same pain in the end of my penis on the sides below the gland. I'm pretty sure I've contracted herpes and just had no sores. Anyone with any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you

That's highly uikely. I know of a well known hsv expert who owns a very busy std clinic. In all her years specializing in hsv she has seen three cases where symptoms like this without lesions were hsv related. So it's highly unlikely you were infected with hsv and having symptoms minus the lesions.
