Approx a year ago I had a small rash that started and progressed over a 2 month span. Starting from my right abdomen to my back. I visited my doctor and twice he told me he was sure it was shingles.
Even now I can still see where my rash was...it is not raised anymore but still red (maybe scarring). When I'm overly stressed or anxious I feel pins and needles pain where my rash was/is. It also get's a little more raised at these times. Is this right? Does shingles cause this? I had another doc tell me it was eczema but all of my symptoms point towards the shingles.
Did they ever do any testing on the rash? It would be unusual for shingles to take 2 months to progress. did they treat you for shingles at all during that 2 month time frame?
