Pubic herpes?

Hi, I am 20 years old, male. My question is can you get pubic sores or pimples on your pubic region? I had unprotected oral sex about 2 weeks ago in which I received oral. Last week I got a pimple that hurt to the touch and a hair growing out of it. Could it be herpes or syphilis? It went away after about 4-5 days but it's scabbed over. Today (a week after the herpes/pimple showed up) I got 2 more pimples in my pubic region, same thing, hurts, and has hair growing out of it. Im already drawn to the fact that it is herpes and I'm not worried because i've already accepted it. But can someone confirm this? Thanks
