QUESTION!!! PLEASE ANSWER!

my husband performed oral sex on me which lasted a couple of minutes.  There wasnt much friction.  A couple of days later he got a cold sore on his lip.  He does not get them often.  Am i at risk of genital hsv1

Have you ever been tested to know your own hsv status?

A cold sore starting a couple of days later probably wasn't an issue. typically shedding starts about 24 hours before the appearance of a cold sore.

Unless you get obvious genital symptoms within the next 1-3 weeks, don't worry about it.

this happened about 2.5 years ago and i never got symptoms in that area.  When he did develop the cold sore 2 days later i still kissed him on the lips and got the cold sore on my lip.  I know i have it orally now but i never had any genital symptoms.
