About a month and a half ago I was diagnosed with HSV 2. I was retested at a different facility and again tested positive for this. I have never had any outbreaks and have always been in good health. I only had myself tested because I later found out that the guy that I had been with was with three other girls at the same time. He and two of the girls have told me that they were also tested and are clean. I don't know whether this is the truth or not, but frankly at this point, it doesn't matter. My question is this: How can I tell when I am at my most infectious
? I have been reading about shedding but since I've never had anything resembling an outbreak, I don't have anything to compare it to. I was talking to a friend who has genital herpes and she was asking me if I'd ever had bumps in my mouth. Every once in a big while, I will get a small bump that I pop. It's not painful
I will gladly take a look at your test results to make sure that you were properly tested and don't need further confirmatory testing. even though you had 2 positives, that doesn't mean that you might not still need further testing. since you've never had any symptoms that you are aware of, it's well worth taking this extra step!
all I need to see are the actual numeric results - e.g. hsv1 igg 4.5 and hsv2 igg 2.9 or whatever they are.
