. The only think that I can think of to explain this, is a pair of tight fitting jeans and boxer briefs that I was wearing for over 10 hours. It looks like it could be a chafe mark, but I’m not sure. The skin in the area looks the same as the rest of the scrotum, it’s just raw and sore (but seems to be healing). It was wet and painful
on the first day, but has since dried out and shrunk. There was some scabbing that washes away in the shower. It looks like it is healing. I did not notice any red marks or irritated skin the night prior to the cut
About a centimeter up from where the mark is, I noticed what looked to be a pimple. About the size of a pinhead. I get pimples/ingrown hairs down there from time to time (I shave the area), so I tried to pop it. The “white head” would not pop and the mass became red and inflamed around the edges of the white mark. I’m not sure if it an ingrown hair or what. It looks like it could be a herpes sore, but it is not filled with fluid, and does not really look like the pictures of typical lesions. There is no shine to it, it does not appear to be filled with anything and it's started to shrink. It’s almost like a hard white spot that becomes somewhat “soupy” when wet or squeezed, but that turns solid again after it dries. It seems to glisten after a shower, but then dries up to look like a whitehead again. At the time that I thought it was a zit and tried to pop it, it looked like a whitehead would be forced out but nothing happened and all the skin around the mark got pretty red. At this point its starting look like all the other hair follicle points. Can a hair follicle become a sore if it’s blocked and you squeeze it?
I had sex with a woman about 8 months ago and the condom broke. I did not know this until being exposed to her for several minutes. I did not have any incident of herpes like symptoms immediately following that encounter. I have had a steady sexual partner for the last six years who does not have herpes or any other stds. I was tested for herpes and all other about a year prior to having sex with the woman where the condom broke about half way through. I was negative on all std’s prior to that day, and this occurrence of rashes is totally out of the blue.
I was treated for hpv about 3 years ago, but was given a clean bill of health after the procedure and initial checkups.
I have some slight itching and the sores hurt for the first day but seem to be fine now. I am really confused about this. Please help.
honestly not anything we can really help you with at this point. it sounds like it's healing and with the holiday going to be seen at this point isn't going to be easy. totally up to you if you want to follow up on it if it's almost healed.
