Razor burns?

I have posted on this earlier also. I suddenly see red rashes and tiny bumps on my inner thighs. It was very itchy a few hours before the rashes appeared. I have to admit it was very itchy on my lower legs too. And I noticed the red rashes after a shower. My question is is there a way to find out if its razor burn or Genital Herpes?

A day before this, I had shaved my legs (and thighs). And I had also had (protected) sex with my boyfriend. He was tested positive for HSV 1. But he has never had an outbreak, so we don't know if its HSV 1 oral or genital.

Thanks in advance.

Chances are that his HSV-1 infection is oral and not genital.  The bumps can be anything like you said it could be razor burn or it could be something more.  See your doctor to have them looked at and if they feel the need they can sweb them for a culture.
