Red Bump

About 6 months ago I noticed about 6 red individual bumps (seemed like pimples) that never popped and went away with in a week. They were located in my pubic region above my penis. I noticed a red bump with a hair coming out of it a couple days ago and wondered if it was the same thing. On a side note, I have been getting headaches more frequently lately and do not know if it is from allegies or just a some other coincidence. Besides these symptoms I have not noticed anything else out of the ordinary. I have not been sexually active since about 3 months before my first "outbreak". I have had unprotected sex once before but it was over a year before this first "outbreak". Wondering if this could be folliculitus or at worst some sort of std. Please help me with this and if necessary, what possible tests I should take to clear this up? Thanks.

well just bumps with not itching or sores really don't sound like herpes your best bet is to see your doctor and if you're concerned about HSV then just get a blood test, these bumps can be anything from an irritation to an STD. But I would also recommend full STD testing since you've had unprotected sex, better to be safe then sorry..
