My boyfriend I am currently with is neg for everything that can be tested for but i recently read and article that some stds can cause red sores in the lower area of the body. he always says that the sores are pimples or in grown hairs. He has a very white body and these bumps are very noticable and sometimes a creepy turn off. I hope its just acne but could it be something more serious??? The only places he has these red bumps are his gentiles, buttocks and upper thighs. seems strange to me, please help...i'm a worrier. Thank you.
i was just worried from something that i read, also knowing that you can't be sure if you have herpes unless you have an outbreak. i'm pretty sure thats the only thing i haven't been tested for, thanks for your insight, he thinks its just acne from sweatingSweating Sweating - absent so thats probably all it is. thanks again.
The blood tests are 98% accurate for hsv2. No reason to think he has herpes if you both tested negative. we don't have perfectly smooth skin - especially not those stinky, sweaty boys ;)
He needs to see his provider. sounds more like a folliculitis than a std.
