Red spots on pubic area

Hello,
About three weeks ago i was trimming my pubic area when i noticed about ten to 15 red spots. I popped one of them and I squeezed what looked like a little ball of fat. It bled for about 5 minutes. They dont itch or hurt at all. I had unprotected sex about one month ago. I am really worried it could be herpes. What do these spots sound like?

this doesn't sound at all like herpes going on.   at this point it's also way too late for a lesion culture too.

follow up on this with your provider to get a better answer of what's going on.  It could be just a simple folliculitis going on or even molluscum so it's worthwhile getting checked out.  since herpes is on your mind, never a bad idea to discuss type specific herpes igg blood testing to see what your status is too while you are there.  If you have a regular partner, they too should get testing done so you both are aware of who has what.

That's a vague decription so it could be a number of things.  For herpes it is best to get a swab within 24-48 of the first obvious symptom.  If you can, get a PCR swab for accuracy.
