Reinfection

Why is it that a person with herpes antibodies 1 and 2  can be reinfected while a person with chcken pox and other diseases create antibodies to prevent further contamination?

People are not reinfected with Herpes once you are infected once thats IT you have it for life it is not at present curable, it can lie dormant in the body for very long periods of time in some people to the point where they have never had a single outbreak and therefore are unaware they even have it which is the reason it has spread so quickly over the years most of this is not from negligence but from not knowing due to having no symptoms,whilst others may have an outbreak regularly and causes them to be tested  ..... as for Chickenpox that too can raise it's head again in later years hence we have Shingles in older people that is effectively a recurrence of Chickenpox ....

But am I susceptible to further outbreaks in new areas?

Herpes doesn't just cause outbreaks in one particular area all the time it can move around sometimes.
