STD or Herpes from Stripper

I am male.  About 9 days ago a stripper gave me unprotected oral sex for a few minutes, we French kissed a couple of times, and I performed unprotected oral sex (a couple of licks).  6 days later I had flu like symptoms, mouth and lips tingly, sore throat and 8 day into it I noticed raised red dots outline in white in a couple of places on my tongue.  The spots on my tongue seemed to have gone away. Nothing on my lips or genitals. I am not sure if I ever had a cold sore before.  How worried should I be in getting any STD or Herpes (oral or Genital).  My flu symptoms have gone.  If I had flu symptoms should I see signs of Herpes or an STD

Probably, but not every time.

It has been 7 weeks from possible exposure.  Still no symptoms and my Herpes select test were both negative.  At this point would you see at least equivocal if exposed?

Usually the flu symptoms and blisters come around the same time.   Again, I think this experience is very low risk and you may be looking just too hard for for symptoms.

Thanks for the response.  I just recently felt some soreness to the tip of my penis.  Do the sores usually come during the flu like symptoms or after.  There is no redness in these areas.  How long after soreness starts should blister show. Hopefully it is just from frantically searching for spots.

The behavior that you engaged in is not high risk for acquiring herpes because it was for a very short time.  Its difficult to say what might be causing the symptoms that you had.  I'm not sure how worried you are about this or if there is a regular partner that you might have that is at risk here.  You might consider getting a baseline (now) test for HSV antibody and then retesting in 3-4 months.  However, again, your risk is low but not zero.  If you develop lesions either around the mouth or the genital area, be certain to have them checked out right away.

The symptoms on your tongue don't really sound herpetic, either as herpes usually presents with more signficant symptoms.
