Hi am a 21 year old male.I have had oral sex once unprotected and sex protected once about 1 year ago.Just recenlty i noticed a small red spot on my upper lip, on the right side.Half of the spot is on my lip an other half above lip. When i first noticed it i thought it was a cold sore. It  had a white puss in it which i popped and was very painful and difficult to pop compared to my normal zits.I am applying chapstick on it and polysporin just to keep it moist. It is goin down in redness alot and pretty much dissapeaed but even a little red spot is noticeable on the lips.I shaved to show that it was a razor burn or cut.It doesnt hurt any more.I have been checked for hiv or any other kinds of stds  by my family doctor and results came back negaitive about a month ago and i havent had sexual contact with ne 1 for about 5 months.Im worried its herpes. Also i get a tinging weird feeling in my left testicle and sometimes urge to itch.I was getting pains there about 2 months ago and results of ultrasound came back negative for anything bad(right testicle was taken out at birth) .Please can u clear this up for me.Is it a cold sore due to herpes or am i just thinking too much and it is just an average zit that ended up in the wrong spot. And also my zits dont stay scarred on me or leave a red spot for more than 1 2 days max.Plz help me I also applied lip balm and I bought abreva.Should the abreva do any thing specifically to  the red spot  (not bump) to show that I now have herpes and it is a cold sore?Plz doc answer my question about the cold sore, and tingling, and plz tell me if i have signs of something. And also about twice a day i get the urge to itch the tip of my penis but i dont itch it and the itching feeling only last for about 3 seconds.I know this is a huge question but i just want to give you as much information as possible to try and diagnose my symptons.Thank You!

When you say that you had oral sex, did you give or receive the oral sex?
Your symptoms don't sound much like a cold sore to me, and the genital symptoms don't sound herpetic either.  Oral herpes usually lasts longer than a day or two, and genital herpes would usually have more symptoms than you are describing, if you were to have symptoms. Have you had any herpes testing done yet?

I recieved the oral sex, and i have had this annoying spot for about  6 days now.And the abreva didnt really do ne thing to it.And no i have not recieved a herpes test yet.So youre saying it was just a zit that ended up in the wrong spot and i shouldnt be worried, even though it left a little red spot and on my lip longer than a zit normally would leave

I'm really not saying it couldn't be herpes, but I am saying that the symptoms and timing that you describe are not consistent with the usual symptoms of herpes.
