Scabbed Cold Sore and Oral Sex

Yesterday my boyfriend and I got involved in some sexual activity while I had a scabbed cold sore right under my lip (not directly on it). To get more specific (sorry but it's needed), the only thing I did was touch the top of the penis with my tongue and lightly sucked on his testicles. The cold sore itself was scabbed over and never touched his skin or any openings or cuts. Right before the ordeal I also cleaned my lip area and the scabbed area with alcohol. What are the chances/probability he will get HSV1 on his genitals?

If your boyfriend has HSV-1 already the chances of him catching HSV-1 in a new location (genital if he has Oral HSV-1) is so low its not even a concern.  The body has built up an immune response to fight off the HSV-1 infection.  Its like chicken pox.  Once you have had Chicken Pox as a kid you won't get it again chances are.  The only concern he needs to have and you is if either of you have HSV-2.  You are still at risk for HSV-2.

Also, he has HSV-1 already, so it might affect him differently?
