I like to know is hsv1 gential infection can caused gential infection to another person? Should I be on antiviral suppressive theraphy? Waht are infection percentage as the years go by?
Yes you can transmit hsv1 from genitals to genitals but it's a lowered risk of doing so.
You don't really get a lot of bang for your buck with suppressive therapy for hsv1 genitally but it's a personal choice. Hsv1 genitally doesn't reoccur very often and doesn't shed very often. if your partner has hsv1 orally, it's not likely they'll contract hsv1 genitally though it can happen.
We don't have infection percentages as the years go by to give you.
