Severe blisters monogamous

I am a monogomous mom and husband claims no third party. He has never had symptoms and now i have terrible blisters on inner labia. How did i get this? Doc said type1 hsv can occur at any mucous membrane. I have been stressed and lack sleep.
It is severe i would say as was not able to treat until 5th day after it got bad. It was misdiagnosed as yeast. Given zovirax 5x day for 5 days plus zovirax cream. Is this enough? My lymph nodes near area are swollen. At legs too. Plus today a little vaginal spotting. Is this normal?

If my type 2 blood test come positive does it mean husband cheated or could we have gotten this from previous partners 15 years ago? And its just coming out now? Thanks.

yes could be stress related. HSV1 would not be as painful and outbreaking as you describe. HSV2 is much more painful and severe. Lets wait for the test to come back but i would rule out hsv1 due to the sererity of the sores.

So could it be stress related and immune system drop related just as doctor said where type 1 can appear under those circumstances and on any mucous membrane? Is zovirax good treatment, and what about the light spotting? Also i have a mirena so wondering if it is related. Had it for a year now.

If they are all around, it would not be an old infection. Old infection outbreaks would only be on one side. So if this is herpes, its a recent infecton. Dont be surprised if your blood test comes out negative. 2 reasons, if its a new infection you may have tested to early and second considering your relationship and lifestyle its not herpes.

They are all around the inner labia of my vagina. They did not swab them. Just gave a blood test for type2 to rule it out because now the doctor is assuming it is type 1.

Hi, did they swab the blisters? Herpes can lie dormant for years. Are the blister only on one side or all around your vaginal area?
