Should I get tested?

Alright so recently I found out my best friend's ex girlfriend has herpes. I know for a fact that my friend kissed her, but did not engage in any other sexual activity. I told her that she really needs to get tested. But my problem is that I share everything with my best friend. Food, drink, lipbalm, you name it, and I was wondering if I should get tested too? I get very paranoid about these things and I did notice an inflamed blister-looking thing on my tonsil, but there's only one little dot and I also get tonsil stones so I'm not sure what exactly it is.

The only way you will get herpes as an adult is going to be those romantic type kisses.  Sharing isn't much of a risk for herpes.  No need to get tested.
