Should I perform oral sex on a person who has oral herpes?

My new partner disclosed that she has oral herpes. Will I contract herpes if I give her unprotected oral sex?

I searched the forum but couldn't find any information for this specific case.

If she has only oral hsv then you are at no risk giving her oral sex. If you do not have any hsv then you are at risk recieving oral sex.

when your partner develops oral herpes, performing unprotected oral sex may spread the virus to you. Even she doesn't have outbreaks of oral herpes, you still have risk to cotract it, but the risk is low. I think protected sex with condoms will be good for you

I got genital herpes through unprotected oral sex. My partners told me she felt a little pain on her lip. But I didn't see anything. She also never told me she had oral herpes until I got the infection. What should I do?
Have you tried home remedies to treat? Tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar or baking soda. But these home remedies depend on each individuals. If your skin is sensitive, dilute them with water before applying. In case of worse symptoms, you should ask your doctor about antiviral medicines or creams
I STRONGLY suggest that you ignore the advice above, and that you avoid applying random kitchen products to your genital area.  You could do some serious damage to your sensitive skin - you are trying to treat what may or may not be a virus, not bake a cake!

See a doctor for proper treatment if you have had tests confirming that you have herpes.
thanks for your advice. I just met my doctor and he gave me valtrex oral. I only scare that the treatment may cause side effects as I sometime have allergies with oral medicines. But doctor told me should try it. If having allergy reaction, meet him immediately. Hope the treatment can help me
Allergy to valtrex oral. After taking 2 doses, I felt dizzy and had a sore throat. Asked my doctor again, he required to stop and recommended prosurx to me.   I give this cream a shot as it’s not oral medicine. Also, bumps are more itching and get worse. But I'm little bit worried about allergies. Has someone tried it? Hope to see your experiences. I don't wanna have allergies again.
