Skin tag on penis

I have noticed a skin tag on my penis? How could I have gotten this? Is it contagious? Is it something to be concerned about?

Skin tags can occur anywhere on the body. Why would you ask on a herpes forum? It's a dermatological condition, not at all related to STDs.

See a dermatologist if it bothers you.

It's probably an artifact of your circumcision. Are you circumcised? Skin tags and bridges are a common complication of this procedure.

You need to have this looked at to find out what it is. What you are considering a skin tag, could be something else and needs proper medical evaluation.
