Small bump on inner thigh, herpes?

I am a 21 year old female.  I have a very small pinkish/red bump on my inner thigh, about an inch or so from my vaginal area.  The bump does not itch, burn or tingle, nor did i notice the area of skin doing that before the bump appeared.  My concern is that it is very sore to touch, if it was not sore like this i would have dismissed it or never noticed it.  It has been there about two days now and I am unsure what it it.  Ingrown hair, shaving burn, a bite or a herpes bump?  I think it seems uncommon to have only a single bump on the inner thigh and for it to be herpes, but I am still strongly concerned. Please help with opinions.

I would not worry based on this lone (what sounds like) pimple - herpes symptoms would have appeared in the 2-20 day timeframe from the encounter.

Aside from that it's always best to cover STD testing when having had sex with someone who's STD status you don't know. And as for herpes, again if you're going to worry, you can test to find out. Feel free to follow up here with your results (and be sure for herpes that it's an IgG type specific blood test). Also, don't be alarmed if positive for HSV1 - more than 1/2 the adult population has it (and, oral herpes is not an STD).

I have not been tested. I had a partner about 4 months ago who told me he was std free, although I do realize he could have not known about a possible infection. We had sex 3 times.

This doesn't sound much like herpes. Best to be seen when symptomatic if concerned (and, best not to "pop" anything).

Have you ever been tested to know your herpes status, just to baseline yourself? Do you have a regular partner?

I actually just popped it and a very tiny amount of stretchy white material came out. I am even more alarmed.
