Small cut a herpes lesion?

I have a small cut (looks like the one layer of skin has just split a little) right on the hood above my clitoris (generally the outer labia region)
It started as an itch, which I assumed was just from shaving (which lasted a day) and then the next day I noticed this lesion.  It isn't painful, maybe a half a centimeter in length, and just recently started to bleed a little.
I had this same irritation with minimal bleeding about a month ago in the same spot but hadn't shaved (at that point I assumed it was just dry skin)
The last time I had unprotected sex was in March, around three months ago.
Its only the one cut, what concerns me is that this is the second time its happened in the same place. I haven't had any of these other cuts that I've noticed anywhere else. Could it be herpes?

you need to go and be seen today and have this looked at. if they suspect herpes they can do a lesion culture and typing. you also need tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally too.
