Small pin head lookin pimples on pubic area

by tattoosteve, Mar 22, 2009 01:31AM
Around my pubic area, i will get 2 or 3 small little bumps, a day or 2 after shaving. I kno what a ingrown hair looks like and they are nothing like that... There is no redness around the bumps....Ive been trying to pick or pop these little bumps with tweaser, and inside is a hard piece of flesh....then it tends to bleed afterwards...they are not painful till i start to pick at them, then they hurt for awhile and my whole pubic area is sore afterwards.....Can u please help me and give me your input of what they are?

You should never pick at anything.  Put down the tweezers and leave these alone!!

There is no way for us to know what is going on. Follow up on it with your provider. Did you show this rash to your provider when you were there for your other issues?

Also if you read our read before posting post you'll see that we ask that you just keep adding any questions/comments/updates to your original post so that it's all in one area. Thank you for your future cooperation with this since it makes it easier for Jess and I especially to help you when you do.

When i got checked they didnt really look at my pubic area, just my penis, and these bumps are only where hair grows, never on my shaft or head or anything like that.... They never bother me or anything till i pick at them, they they are very sore for a couple days... I looked up countless pictures of things on the internet and nothing looks like what im talking bout.. Like i said they are never read or anything untill i pick at them then they become irritated and bleed a good bit....And they arnt in a group or anything, there will be like 3 or 4 that might come up in differnt spots, never all in a group or clumped together....I only ever noticed them a few days after i shave because theres no hair and its easier to spot them... WHen i dont shave i dont tend to notice them.. They never come to a head or anything, but they stay there for weeks at a time sometimes....This give you any more input?

hey I just wanted to let you know that I think I have the same thing you do.  I too pop them off and they tend to grow back in the same spot.  They alomst seem like hard round pieces of flesh.  They dont hurt at all even when pinched off but do cause slight bleeding afterwards.  Mine sometimes grow together but not neccessarily clustered.  I have noticed them at the bottom of my shaft and on the scrotum.  At first i thought it may be from shaving but I'm not sure.  Anyways just lettin you know your not alone on this one either.

ah well that gives me a little releaf... I would be more worried if i saw them like on the penis itself or the head of it, i do get them close to the penis like right at the base where theres hair molicules around.....mine however do hurt when i pinch them or try to pop them... i guess because your tearing the skin and stuff.....
