Small warts or herpes whitlow

by peyton13, Sep 02, 2008 09:53AM
Hi about a two month ago i noticed small little bumps on the sides of my fingers.  I have had three partners in the last 7 months safe sex was used but with herpes it's a skin contact and I believe I have the symptoms of herpes whitlow.  the small bumps are back so I don't know.  Leading to this bumps on the hand again my daughter got her chicken pox vacine and the man I am dating got chicken pox from her know as shingles because of his age "herpes zolster" .. But as I said prior I had these on my fingers two months when I just met him and there was no sexual contact until recently and now they are here again?
Second.. I have cooked cleaned and done much more am I spreading this all over.  Just by using the computer am I causing harm to my family?

This doesn't sound like whitlow. See your provider to find out what is really going on since these have reoccured in a few months time.

Additional question.  I have made an appointment with my provider but it's a week away which seems like a lifetime when you don't know what's going on.  Herpes Whitlow I haved researched via internet... But what I have on my hand looks very mild in relation to the pictures.  My question is every site says painful blisters and my did not hurt at all is pain a absolute in herpes whitlow?  The bumps on my hands resembled the picture but where hard to touch and appeared to be filled with fluid.  After four days time they dried and turned into little pin point scrabs very small an an sunk in.  Just confused on this thing on my hand.

thanks for prompt replies

Everyone I know who's had whitlow says it hurts like a SOB which is part of why i said it doesn't sound like whitlow.
