Staph and Herpes

Hi,

I was tested for the Herpes Virus about a week and a half ago... I was in BC when I was experiencing an onset of pain that included me not being able to sit or stand or walk for very long... I had a lot of redness, bumps, and a little bleeding along with what I believed (and was diagnosed correctly), to be a very bad yeast infection. The Doc in BC gave me med's and sent me on my way and told me she would call with the results of the swab she had taken from my Vagina. When I returned from BC I went to see my family doctor and she took one look at me and told me to go to the hospital, and that's when they (hospital) tested me for Herpes. The BC clinic had called me back to tell me the results of the swabs the Doc in BC had taken of my Vagina and they said it was Staph and Yeast Infection... STAPH? Well, I looked up everything I could about it, and saw some similarities between Staph and Herpes. Is this common that Staph can be commonly seen as Herpes? I need to know...
