Still contrcating herpes from Protected Sex

If you have sex with a condom but contract herpes anyway where the skin and scrotum were exposed to sore or vaginal secretion....will you still get herpes on the glans (glands) and shaft of the penis which was protected by the condom or will hepres just recur where initial infection took place?

Where you are infected has little bearing on where ob's and shedding will take place.  The nerve ganglia that supplies the genital area is where the virus settles and shedding takes place from the entire anogenital area periodically -that includes the anal area too , even if you don't have anal sex.
