Still in Limbo

I've been here before, and still in Limbo.  2 months ago i noticed a sore on my labia, went to the gyn, and upon inspection she said it looked like i  had genital herpes, she did not do a swab test, just did a blood test.  The result was HSV 1 pos HSV 2 neg.  I am aware that the HSV1 i could have had for some time, maybe since childhood, but i really dont recall ever having a cold sore in my mouth or anywhere else for that matter, this was approximately 2-3 wks after possible exposure.  But i did use a condom with this person, and i also shave consistently, and do get irritation in the very spot where the sore was present.

I went to my PCP for a second opinion and he did do a swap test as well as another blood test, since there was still signs of lesions there, and he also noticed some yeast, and he prescribed some Diflucan, which did help tremendously.  The swab test came back negative for both HSV 1 & 2 and the blood test came back the same as the 1st HSV1 pos HSV 2 neg.  But my dr suggested i wait some time to get retested, becuz the swab test might have missed the virus considering it was already healing, and it may have been to soon for the blood test to detect the antibodies.  So that is 2 Blood test with test with the same results, and a swab test that may or may not  have been accurate.

At 9 weeks, i went for another blood test....AND GUESS WHAT??? It came back the same HSV 1 pos HSV 2 neg.

Now, during that time i did  not shave there, and after the final test results, i decided to shave, and 3 days later, i start to get the itchiness and noticed there were 3 spots that looked like sores. Now i  have gone back to my Dr, it is now 10 wks, and he performed another blood test, and another swab test....I cant take this anymore, i want to know what is wrong with me.

And now im all stressed out all over again! Please Help

At this point waiting for your lesion culture results is the best you can do.
