Stressed

by MH161, Dec 17, 2008 04:00PM
Yesterday I realized I had some tenderness in the crack area of my butt! When i looked in the mirror it looks to be a tiny pimple thats a little tender.  Today it's not as tender but the tiny pimple is still there.  It doesnt look like anything can be popped from it?  Could this be herpes or just a pimple/ingrown hair?  Now I'm freaking myself out wondering!

I too have the same thing.  It was very tender and hurt but could not be popped. I was also wondering if this could be herpes because i have been worrying about it lately and have not had something like this before.

It could be herpes but it's more likely to be irritation or even yeast in that area.  Follow up with your provider is the best course of action if it doesn't seem to be healing in a day or so. Meanwhile soak in the tubby and throw in some epsom salts or aveeno bath thrown in for comfort , dab the area dry afterwards and try to get it some cool, drying air.
