If one were to take 500mg. of Valtrex 3x day would one be able to have safe sex / no worries about transmitting HSV 1 & 2 to their spouse who has neither? What about 4x? I don't want to hurt my liver. Thank you.

Then why am I still broken out--almost constantly? It's never gone completely away! There HAS been ALOT of stress in my life for the past 3 yrs. which I'd guess has everything to do with this...
you only have to take it daily. really no benefit from taking the higher doses or taking it more frequently.
