Suppression Meds and Side Affects

I started suppression famciclovir over the weekend and had diahhrria 5 times the next day. Has this happend to anyoone else? Please share your side effects of any other meds or meds that gave no side effects. I have to call the doc and get something else. Thanks

no but after that I havent taken the meds

they won't work if you don't take them.

in your post to Terri, you wrote that they gave you valtrex. which medication are you taking?

if your diarrhea was from the medication, it's not likely to continue. there was no reason to stop taking whichever medication it was you had started taking.

Sorry for the confusion. I had a old script that I filled from back in January that was famciclovir.for supression.  Thats the one I took for one day and got bad diahhrria. The doctor just gave me a new script for valacyclovir which i havent received yet via mail service. Any advive. Thanks
